 I will only use Edge by Castrol On any high mileage vehicle.
After much trial and error over the years with different types of oil in Brandz I’ve discovered edge made by Castrol. It really does make a difference. Within 25 miles or so of driving I can actually feel the difference in my car and the oil still shows clean a couple hundred miles later. If your vehicle has 125,000 miles or more I wouldn’t dare try any other product. Excellent value for the money.

 This is a great product if you can get it and worth every dollar it cost
I like everything about mobile 1 5w30 20,000 mile, high mileage oil, and when you can get it for a great price it is even better the only complaint i have is with there warehousing and shipping it took me 1month to receive this product..i bought it through Amazon but it was Mobile 1 was the seller on there site it was to arrive in 5 days after 7 days They "mobile 1" back ordered it for what they said could be up to another 3 weeks... The product arrived 2 1/2 weeks later...... Even though i save approximately 25 dollars on it...But i couldnt wait 3 extra weeks to service my truck so i went ahead and bought Amazon brand synthetic for 1 dollar less its reviews are just about as good as mobile1 ....i will save the mobile 1 till next service ,...

 Great oil for the value compares to mobile one
I do mobile tow truck repair throughout the south east and I run pretty hard in a 2007 Chevy express 3500 fully loaded with tools and equipment other oil I have used I would need to have to add a quart of oil after 1500 miles on oil change now it doesn’t have to have a Quart of oil until 25 to 2800 miles which I think is quite exceptional this is probably my fifth or six oil change with this oil and I’m gonna stick with it would recommend it to anybody especially in a heavy duty use application

 Great oil for GDI engines
This particular Valvoline oil is formulated to reduce intake valve deposits on GDI engines. I have been using it on several Hyundai GDI engines over the last four years and idle quality, smoothness of running are both good. As a maintenance function I do a proper CDC intake valve cleaning every 15K miles. See no change in performance/mileage with the engine so I presume there is little build up on the intake valves. On previously used oils I was getting a rough idle and stumble if I didn't run the CDC cleaner every 10K miles. Short of pulling the intake manifold and scoping the back side of the valves I can only presume this oil is helping with the typical GDI intake valve deposit build up.

 My engine still runs so it must be working 😆
I run this in my tuned Explorer ST. 3.0 twin turbo. I drive hard. I got about 6,200 miles since the last oil change. The engine oil sensor today say 8% oil life left. This is in combination with either a K&N oil cartridge or AFe cartridge. Can't remember off the top of my head. Either way I'm happy to get about 6,500 miles between changes. I probably would not go past 7k anyways. Regardless of what the sensor says. Not really sure how these sensors work in the first place. I have zero complaints with this oil. I did notice before with Royal Purple HPS oil, I had about a full quart of consumption between oil changes. This last run with this oil, I've only seen about a 1/2 of a quart consumed.
